New "Junk" to Work On

Jon specially requested before and after pictures so I thought you guys might want to see them too. These are just the "befores." As in....nothing absolutely nothing has been done to them since I deemed them "treasure" though someone before me deemed them "junk." It's all about perception. My eyes see potential and all these fabulous things. Someone else just saw all these things as useless junk. So so sad. I have some great ideas for these wonderful things I have found here and there. However, if you guys have any ideas, I sure do welcome them as well. Hopefully I can get to work on these pieces soon and post the after pictures! I also hope to be in the new house by then, where I have more room to work on things. Ya'll have a great night!!!

No idea what I'm going to do with this guitar but I'm going to do something. The wire baskets I already have plans for...This rickety old wicker basket will not look like this long. They are too useful.

Oh, I have the most fabulous idea for this one! The detail at the top will add such great character to this piece when finished....oh I can't wait to do this one!!!

New Product Line in 2010

Alabama is going to the BCS Bowl for the National Championship and thus a new beautiful year begins at tooShae. My workshop is almost finished. My dear ol' Dad has really outdone himself this time. The floors are down and most of the sheet rock is up!!!! We aren't far from the point I get really really excited about.........paint & decorating!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEEp......so so excited.

I cannot wait to launch all the new designs and products I have been working on over the past few months. I haven't been blogging yet I have been a very busy bee. Stay tuned for all the exciting things going on at tooShae. A special thanks to Jon for all his emotional support he has given me each and every day since he came into my life! I love that you believe so much in my crazy notions and ideas!

We Are The Pirates, Aarrgh!

School is gearing up to start back and I'm having fun getting back into the swing of things with the Pirates. Crayon Rolls and Pirate Key Fobs available at tooShae!

South Carolina

I recently went to South Carolina to pick my kiddos up from my sister's. We had some fun at the lake and I took one of my favorite photos of them to date. It has been a pretty good summer, but I am looking very forward to a week from Monday when school starts back!

Braided Headbands

tooShae has a new additon! Braided headbands! The one thing I love about making them is they are just so customizable. I know there is that age a little girl comes to, where bows just aren't cool anymore. Headbands are perfect! All ages, girls and ladies alike wear headbands.

You will notice the headband was pre-wrapped and all edges were sealed. Special touches like this make these boutique quality not the cheap imitations you might find elsewhere.

When ordering please specify what color theme you would like. You can specify 5 different ribbon colors and the color coordinating ribbon underneath.

First game of the season

We had our first baseball game of the season Saturday. Mo did great! He got on base two out of 3 bats. The 3rd base coach sent him on home one of those times when the hindcatcher already had the ball so bless him he got out because of the coach. However, he had fun and that's all that matters. Another bit of good news about baseball! I am so proud of my MO!

I took a load of pictures of course at practice as well as the first game. I will be sending them to the usual list of folks!
